Ready to meet the pharaohs? This Luxor day trip is your VIP pass to Ancient Egypt, taking you on a time-travel adventure through one of the world’s most spectacular open-air museums.
Morning: The Temples of the East Bank
Your day kicks off bright and early as we drive through Egypt’s desert landscapes to reach Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes. First stop? Karnak Temple—the largest religious complex ever built! Picture giant pillars, towering statues, and walls covered in hieroglyphs. You’ll walk through the Avenue of Sphinxes and stand beneath the Great Hypostyle Hall, a place so epic it looks straight out of a movie (because it literally is).
Afternoon: The Royal Side of the West Bank
After a well-deserved lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll head to the West Bank, aka the land of the dead (but in a totally cool way). First up: the Valley of the Kings, where Egypt’s greatest pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, were buried in hidden tombs filled with gold and secrets. Your ticket includes entry to three tombs, each more breathtaking than the last!
Next, we’ll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning cliff-side masterpiece built by Egypt’s most badass female ruler. Then, we’ll make a quick stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that have been standing guard for over 3,400 years.
Evening: Back to Hurghada
After a day of walking in the footsteps of pharaohs, we’ll start our comfortable drive back to Hurghada, giving you plenty of time to scroll through your epic photos (and maybe take a nap).
What to Bring?
Passport (Luxor welcomes you, but they need to see ID first)
Sunscreen & sunglasses (Egyptian sun = no joke)
Camera (because “I visited the Valley of the Kings” needs proof)
By the time you’re back, one thing’s for sure—you’ll never look at history the same way again.
